- A Running Shot II by John P. Cowan
- When asked about the difference between A Running Shot and A Running Shot II, Cowan explained that when A Running Shot was reproduced as a limited edition print, the buck was a modest size, and that after the owner of this painting bagged an exceptional Boone and Crockett trophy, he asked if the buck in the painting could be changed to match his monster. So after a few days, Cowan agreed to try the rework as long as if an egg was laid, the owner would eat it. Originally available in a special signed and numbered limited edition of only 100 larger format Giclée prints on canvas. Actual image size is 22" x 30" with a retail price of $1150.
